I just found this in my Microsoft RSS feeds. It is a webcast by my cousin Chris Bertelson on advanced uses of Office 2007. I haven't had time to watch all of it yet.....but what I have watched is very good. If you ever need to know anything about any of the Office programs....Chris is the "go to" guy. Chris has been giving his "Tips and Tricks" seminars for years and is really quite good. Look at his webcast here. The is another guy who is not my cousin that does a webcast on basic Tips and Tricks for Office here.

You know that you can get a lot of free software from Microsoft, but you would really have to hunt to find it. Here is a place that has compliled a HUGE list of the software that available FREE from Microsoft. Some are useful, some are games, some relate to multimedia, but there should be a little something for everyone Then just go the the National Do Not Call Registry and register your phone numbers with the government so that telemarketers have to take you off of their lists. I registered a year ago, and have not had many calls since. As I am writing this, there is only 13 days left till the 1st Husker football game of the year against Nevada. I know this is true, because I checked withHusker Football Countdown 2007 An unofficial Google Maps blog tracking the websites, mashups and tools being influenced by Google Maps. It is interesting what they are doing with Google maps, and this site shows quite a bit of it. As you will learn, a Mashup is a combination of a Google Map and some data locations that are pinned on the map. For example the location of all of the Starbucks in a town and the address and phone number |
