I may have written before about http://www.ninite.com/ This is one of the handiest websites that I have found for a while. Free for consumer use....you pick out the programs that you want on your machine and click on the installer, and Ninite does the rest......complete installs, one after the other with no clicking on your part...AND it always chooses NOT to include the excess toolbars. ALSO, tired of keeping programs on multiple machines updated for security reasons....Just save the Installer for all of the ninite programs on your desktop and clink the link and run it once a week....it will skip programs that don't need updated and download and install the ones that do need updated....couldn't be easier for free !!
I haven't updated for a bit, because there hasn't been much to update. The flow is still at 160,000cfs and levees seem to be holding. The Corps won't lower the realease until Aug, so we have another month or more to worry. The water level of some of the inundated areas have gone down a little, but we still worry about heavy rains to the north of us. Keeping our fingers crossed !!
