Sweet Corn 06/30/2007
 

Our Sweet Corn  started tasseling a couple of weeks ago, and it should be ready soon. I won't have any ready for the 4th (I never do, you would have to plant the 1st of April) but maybe by next weekend we can have some to sell.  That will be about as early as I have ever had corn to sell. We will be a the regular place in Missouri Valley

It would be nice if it rained now, instead of when we are picking sweet corn every day.

Mike, you don't know how good that corn sounds right now. I'm sitting here in my office overlooking the Capitol and all the traffic inching along hoping to reach their destination by tomorrow, the 4th. It will probably take me two hours to get home today. I'd rather be picking corn!
